Detainee Abuse: The Role of Female Torturers and Interrogators

Tara McKelvey is a Senior Editor at the American Prospect and a Contributing Editor to Marie Claire magazine, and her articles have appeared in those publications as well as The Nation, the New York Times Book Review and Slate. She is now working on a book about a civil suit against private military contractors accused of torture (Carroll & Graf Publishers) and is editing an anthology, “One of the Guys: Female Torturers and Interrogators at Abu Ghraib and Beyond” (Seal Press).
