Do we do blame a president seeking to expand his authority to do that which he has taken a constitutional oath to do: to uphold and defend the Constitution and to defend this country against foreign and domestic threats foreign? Or do we blame those who do not wish to enter into the political foray in order to stand up to those institutional challenges of authority?

Center on Law and Security Executive Director, Karen Greenberg, was a guest on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart on Wednesday, February 4. She was there to discuss her upcoming book, The Least Worst Place: Guantanamo's First 100 Days. The book takes a close look at the beginnings of the notorious prison camp and how its leadership tried to establish something different than what it became.
